Michelle has been practising in family law for 30 years and has a wealth of experience and compassion for family law matters.
Background & Experience
After graduating in Melbourne University in 1989, Michelle was admitted to the profession in 1991.
Since 1993 Michelle has worked exclusively in family law. Her experience spans managing large scale and complex family law property litigation, financial agreements and defacto property cases.
Michelle has extensive experience in appearing before judges and magistrates in family law matters, and is a member of the family law section of the Law Institute of Victoria and family law section of the Law Council of Australia.
A trailblazer in delivering family law services in Geelong, Michelle established a boutique family law practice in 2003.
After taking a break to raise her 7 children in 2015, Michelle returned to practice in 2018 as senior lawyer at the highly regarded firm of Geelong Family Lawyers.

In 2021, following the 2020 work from home rules, Michelle reopened her boutique family law firm.
Her main focus is helping clients who are looking for guidance and direction following the breakdown of a relationship.
Michelle aims to deliver a service where her focus is devoted to expeditiously and cost-effectively resolving each clients’ matter. This is achieved through conservative rates and fixed fees, combined with genuine commitment to negotiating arrangements in both property and children matters.
Michelle is based on the Surf Coast and offers a range of communication options so she is able to work with clients face-to-face or remotely.
